After a year’s break, It is a pleasure to announce our call for papers for the third issue of Cultivate.

This issue will be dedicated to the work of current students at the Centre for Women’s Studies, University of York. Therefore, there will be no overarching theme and we invite submissions on topics that align with the research interests of our fellow CWS students.

We accept academic essays as well as cultural commentary and creative work. CWS students are encouraged to submit material, in all mediums of art and critical thought, including but not limited to essays, photo essays, poetry, videos, podcasts.

Critical academic articles should be maximum 2000 words + references. The

Creative pieces should be accompanied by a critical commentary of maximum 250 words.

Please email your work, plus key words and a short abstract (200 words max.)
